Dear colleagues, It is with great excitement that we announce the holding of the 1st Panhellenic Conference on Pediatric Nursing, with the collaboration of the Pediatric Nursing Applications Laboratory of the Department of Nursing, EKPA with the Onassios Cardiac Surgery Center and the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Nursing on June 8-10, 2023, at the Foundation's Roof Onassis. Pediatric Nursing is an autonomous scientific field at the global level, whose developments are rapid and a constant updating of the knowledge and skills of pediatric nurses is required. Advanced technological applications and the family-centered care delivery model make up the modern framework for nursing management of the pediatric patient and his family. The scientific program of the Conference, including thematic sections that meet the needs of today's pediatric nurses, it aims to provide new knowledge and exchange of experiences, which will be motivation and resources for the substantial upgrading of our country's structures that provide care to pediatric patients, at primary and tertiary level. At the same time, with the oral communication section, we hope that young researchers will have the opportunity to share their work and their knowledge with the wider scientific public. Inaugurating and embracing with respect to the pediatric nurse this new scientific event of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Nursing, we hope for the active participation of all pediatric nurses who work with pediatric patients and their families and emerging scientists who have a special interest in Pediatric Nursing. The landmark collaboration with the Onassios Cardiac Surgery Center marks the beginning of a new era, in which the modern nurse as an equal member of the interdisciplinary team, provides high quality pediatric nursing care. Aiming at the promotion of Pediatric Nursing in our country, we are waiting for you all.
